ANA POPOVIC
ANA POPOVIC
Award winning Ana Popovic blends smoking electric funk with slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals, incredible stage presence and a tight blues groove with soulful vocals. She was the only female guitarist on the 2014 All Star Experience Hendrix lineup and was recently on Joe Bonamassa's Keeping The Blues Alive At Sea cruise. Her albums have been Pick Of The Week by USA Today and have been featured on NPR Music. Nearly all of her releases hit the Top 5 Billboard Blues Charts including her recent 'Blue Room,' recorded with her father Milton Popovic.

"Ana Popovic is a fine example of a blues artist who takes new directions while remaining true to the essence of the genre." – Blues Revue
"Yugoslavian-born Ana Popovic is not only a superb singer and songwriter, but also a very capable guitarist who can flat pick fluid jazz lines, craft deep-pocket slide grooves, and bend strings with SRV-style emotion." – Guitar Player

KJ's Story
The Short Story......
KJ has been performing live for over 18 years and for the last 14 years music has been her fulltime career. She started out as a trumpet player and band leader, but shortly thereafter taught herself how to play guitar as she began writing and singing her own material. KJ’s music has taken her on many wonderful adventures. She has opened for some of the biggest legends in the music business such as B.B.King, Jimmy Webb, and Mavis Staples. She has self-produced her own records, all with success on Sirius XM radio. KJ continues to travel the country performing her original material on stages of all sizes. But most of all she will tell you she loves to connect with an audience over shared emotion, whether it’s sorrow or happiness, she loves to bring everyone into the moment. Her music has always been hard to fit into one genre because she has so many influences. Her newest album (to be released in 2018) is a combination of “Sunshine and Blues”. A tribute to both her roots in the blues and her more recent exploration of island/tropical vibes. KJ is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association and recently received the runner-up award as part of their local Cleveland Chapter Ole’ song challenge. In January 2019 she will represent the Northeast Ohio Blues Association in Memphis, TN for the International Blues Competition as a solo artist.
